Our classroom instruction is fun, exciting, and interactive. Students will learn critical skills to make their driving experiences much safer. Each student must complete this training prior to obtaining a Class D license in the State of Georgia.

Since this is a 4 day class, we offer it during school breaks, and have select Saturday classes throughout the year.

Each Behind the Wheel lesson is 2 hours long. Typically we suggest to start with 6 hours (3 lessons) to fulfill most insurance requirements and for the most well-rounded education.

We are typically scheduled about 4-8 weeks in advance, depending on the student’s availability.

1st Stop Georgia Driving Academy is one of the few driving schools in the state that are authorized to conduct this testing. If the student successfully passes their road skills test, they will be issued a certificate which can be taken to the Department of Driver Services in order to receive their Class D License; no other testing will be required.
